Mr. Kishor Parekh

Founder & Chairman

A Chartered Accountant by profession, our founder, Mr. Kishor Parekh, has more than 25 years of post-qualification experience. He started Aphelion Finance 17 years ago with just one product in the company portfolio – Two-Wheeler Loans. Today, the portfolio encompasses various other products - Personal Loans, Gold Loans and Loans against Insurance Policies too. Apart from Aphelion Finance he has founded “Kishor V. Parekh and Company”, a CA firm.

Alongside his professional excellence, Mr. Parekh maintains a keen interest in serving the community and giving back to society. He has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Mulund South since 1991 and served as its President in 2013–14. His proficient leadership saw the club rank soar and be named among the top 10 Rotary Clubs of Mumbai.

Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee

Financial Advisor

Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee is the Advisor of the Company. He brings with himself a rich banking experience of more than 25 years. His professional journey has seen him serve in multiple leadership roles across organisations. His professional career began as a Probationary Officer with Syndicate Bank and retired as the Chief Financial Officer of an MNC, namely ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd. He has had the experience of working across almost all departments, though primarily focused on Credit.

In 2000, he left the banking sector and joined ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd. as the Assistant Vice President and worked as the Head of Treasury. Over the next 13 years, he had different roles handling various portfolios, such as Collection, System Implementation, Marketing of Commercial vehicles in Mumbai, Acquisition, Insurance, and Securitisation of Receivables to name a few. During his tenure there, he was the representative of the company in dealings with the Reserve Bank of India and Rating Agencies.  

In 2013, he completed his term in ORIX as the CFO and joined Aphelion as our Financial Advisor.

Mr. Raj Parekh

Whole-Time Director

Now a Senior Manager of the Company, Raj graduated from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business in 2012, at New York University, with majors in Finance and Business Economics, and a minor in Music Theory.

He later completed his MBA in Family Business from the Indian School of Business in 2020, while working with Aphelion.
